The fearful and unbelieving reject the report that Jesus Christ came to save sinners, and in Jesus Christ is no sin. The arm of the Lord is hidden from them because they believe not the gospel of Jesus Christ. Satan, the god of this adulterous and perverse generation, has blinded their eyes lest they should see and believe and eat of the Tree of Life.
"Strong meat is for those whose spiritual senses are exercised through enduring temptations and trials of faith. "Hard to be uttered" to babes in understanding the word of righteousness necessary to receive strength and growth in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard what God has prepared for them who love him. But by his Holy Spirit he reveals the hidden manna."
