• Because Satan appears as an angel of light and transforms the basest of men to masquerade as prophets of God to deceive many and to destroy souls, the Elect saints preserved in Jesus Christ need not any man to teach them because they have the Unction, the Holy Spirit who teaches the saints unspotted from the world, to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, to live sober and holy in this adulterous and perverse generation; to be fully equipped in the armor of God, casting down evil imaginations and bringing every thought into obedience to Jesus Christ, the Head of the body washed in his Blood.
